Chartered Valuation Surveyor – Associate to Director level – Torbay
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new GP valuation surveyor to join this business as a result of continued growth and increasing demand for professional services. They are growing and strengthening their team in line with their vision to be the sector’s employer of choice across the South West. The role is an opportunity to work for the best in the industry, combining an exceptional reputation with support and financial backing for you to grow your division with them. The successful candidate will be client facing and will have the opportunity to deal with a variety of instructions predominantly focused on valuation but also including agency and general professional consultancy. You will manage your time and schedules, with opportunity for flexibility and some out of office working. Team development and career progression is a very important factor and there will be the opportunity to further specialise should the candidate wish. The role will be supported by a dedicated administrator.
We are looking for a confident, energetic, and personable surveyor, ideally with a bias towards valuation work with at least 3-5 years PQE. You will be a self-starter and ideally you will have experience advising both private and corporate clients with a desire to win new business and the ability to cross sell company services. You will be dynamic and relish the opportunity to grow your role and division whilst working amongst a great team in a fantastic part of the world with so much to offer.
What we are looking for?
- MRICS qualification
- A confident and professional manner
- Valuation experience and excellent report writing skills
- Ability to deal promote agency services as well as professional work
- An interest in growing client base and winning new business
- The ability to work within a team
- Full UK driving license
