Job Role: Drainage Consultant/Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £32K – £42K
Employment basis: Permanent
Working hours: 37.5 hours/week. Scope for flexible working to be agreed

We are recruiting for a Drainage Consultant/Engineer with 4-7 years of experience to be based within our growing team in Bristol. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, working on residential and commercial projects across the UK. The role will include advising clients and developing design proposals to support planning applications, then progressing these through the approvals process up to detailed design stage
Essential skills:
• Develop drainage strategies utilising Microdrainage or Flow modelling software.
• Design of Sustainable Drainage Systems
• Prepare S104 designs and manage submissions to approving authorities
• Design & liaison with water undertakers to agree S106, S185 and buildover agreements
• Land Drainage Consent applications
• Design of non-mains foul drainage systems & tertiary treatment solutions for foul effluent
• Tender & commission infiltration testing & CCTV surveys.
• Liaising with clients, the Environmental Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities
Qualifications: (Required) BEng/MEng Geography, Environmental Science or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
