A wonderful opportunity for a Planned Works Manager to join a local public sector body has emerged within their Housing team as a result of an internal promotion. In this fascinating and varied position, you will be in charge of carrying out our programmed works and managing the council’s housing stock’s assets to guarantee that our residences continue to be of a high calibre and in compliance with the law.
Managing a Planned Works Team, you’ll offer technical guidance and counsel, oversee significant capital and revenue improvement budgets, and oversee our contractors to make sure they complete our planned works to the necessary standards, on time, and within the allocated budget.
Ideally you will be a self-starters who is able to manage time effectively and work with others collaboratively, using your excellent communications skills to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors and, most importantly, residents and customers.
