Based local to Exeter and with an annual turnover of circa £50M, our client specialise in the following works:

• Hotel and Restaurant Developments
• Gym and Leisure Facilities

The Position

Joining their team and reposting into the Commercial Manager, the Planner will be responsible for the following: 

• Provide programme management and planning support to both the pre-construction and live projects
• Analysis of programmes and communicating with the teams as required
• Working closely with the Project Manager to produce and assist in the production of programmes
• Answering tender questions and producing tender method statements
• Management of the development of the prelims with the project team

The Requirements

Educated to professional level with a relevant degree or equivalent in Building Studies (or equivalent), you’ll come from a main contracting background and have the following: 

• Understanding and experience in the use of project management software (specifically Asta PowerProject)
• Knowledge in programme, and planning management, project management, and project controls
• Ability to work well in a team environment
