Project Manager

I am on the lookout for a Construction “Project Manager” to join one of my clients. They are a boutique powerhouse specialising in project management, cost consulting, and building surveying. Currently, they are managing a portfolio exceeding £500 million in projects nationwide. These projects span various sectors, including mixed-use developments, assisted living facilities, healthcare, residential, and commercial ventures.

The Opportunity
The Construction “Project Manager” will be responsible for:
- Active involvement in the procurement, design and delivery of new build and refurbishment projects including mixed use, industrial, residential and commercial schemes
- Supporting Junior Project Managers in their professional development
- Advising clients on programme, cost and procurement implications of projects for both public and private sector clients
- Attending client facing meetings in which professional advice is provided
- Procuring and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams
- Involvement in the project delivery process from inception to completion
- Good working understanding of building technology, compliance/Building Regulations and defect diagnosis
- As a small, but growing business, this role will provide the right individual with responsibility and the opportunity to be a fundamental part of our growth and success
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3 years post graduate experience
- MRICS qualified or willing to work towards Chartered status
- A demonstrable understanding of project management with the ability of managing projects at any RIBA stage
- Experienced in the use of MS Project and Asta PowerPoint
- Driven and motivated
- Good communication skills (both written and oral)
- Have the ability to appeal to a varied client base
- Have a successful track record in both professional and project-based work
