Reporting into the Construction Director, the purpose of the Project Manager role is to manage the construction site according to company guidelines and goals ensuring all aspects of the project are in conformity with proposed budgets, timelines and construction and quality standards.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure all quality and safety inspections are within quality control standards
- Coordinate activities with external third-parties, such as warranty provider, local authorities and utility companies
- Maintaining accurate records for the development
- Direct and supervise activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budget
Could it….
If you have the following, then we are off to a good start:
- 5 years experience as a Site or Project Manager for a national or regional housebuilder
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management preferred
- Understanding of the NHBC or /LABC/Premier standards
- Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is preferred
