Due to internal progression, we have a vacancy for an experienced recruiter/recruitment coordinator to join us on the MEH Alliance as Resource Coordinator working on the Hinkley Point C project.  

Key Accountabilities
  

  • Coordinates recruitment activity across one or more of the JV Delivery Partners into roles with MEH at HPC
  • Ensures SQEPness (Suitably Qualified, Experienced Personnel) of candidates with reference to the MEH Alliance Competency Matrix
  • Provides visibility of recruitment pipeline against forecast and confirmed labour requirements
  • Works with Workforce Manager to efficiently allocate labour across MEH
  • In time, will work with Workforce Manager and Delivery Partners to redeploy employees from MEH HPC back to JV Partners 

  
Key Deliverables
  

  • Utilises 16-week demand plan to communicate required labour to the Recruitment teams at the JV Delivery Partners 
  • Monitors fulfilment against demand from JV Delivery Partners 
  • Books pre-employment technical testing for in-scope trades 
  • Participates in, and variously leads weekly mobilisation readiness reviews with JV Partners, Line Manager, Workforce, HR, Onboarding, Training 
  • Provides Early Warning to Workforce and Resourcing Manager  
  • Delivers Blue-Collar Induction on a rota basis 
  • Acts as MEH point of contact for new employees mobilising to the Project 
  • Works as liaison between Onboarding Team, JV Partner, and Candidate to expedite vetting where required 
  • Validates SQEPness of candidates according to MEH Competency Matrix 
  • Attends recruitment events and careers fairs as representative of MEH and, by extension HPC

  
Requirements

  • Experience of running recruitment & mobilisation activities in a high-volume (750 hires/month within the function at peak) is essential 
  • Experience of running recruitment activities in a blue-collar work environment is preferable, but not essential  
  • Solid IT skills across full MS Office Suite, including excellent Excel and data analysis ability
