Section Engineer
A Section Engineer opportunity has arisen with a civil engineering contractor delivering top class schemes in the marine sector. This opportunity has arisen in the South West subsequent to a number of new project wins in the region and nationally.
As Section Engineer you will be working with an industry specialist marine civil engineering main contractor with a long history of delivering a range of projects, typical values range from £20K to £3M and will involve earthworks, drainage, concrete, groundworks, sheet piling, rock armour installation, cable & pipe laying all within a maritime environment.

Core Section Engineer duties within your role will include;
- Setting Out and quality control.
- Project management of minor works.
- Meeting Health & Safety regulations, producing RAMS and deputising for the Project Manager.
- Close working with the senior management and commercial teams.

Section Engineer qualifications and skills considered ideal for this position are an ONC/HNC/BEng or NVQ equivalent, prior experience working on similar projects & working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Salary range will vary, for the right individual between £35,000 to £40,000 plus significant travel and enhanced working away package meaning OTE are in excess of £50,000+ p/a.
