A senior structural engineer vacancy is now available at either the Bristol or Trowbridge facility of the company. The role’s primary responsibilities include ensuring the timely and profitable completion of engineering projects, utilizing analysis and design 3D software to perform engineering analyses and calculations, managing projects from “cradle to grave,” providing technical support to clients via reports and presentations, and liaising with contractors and clients at both design and site meetings.
To be considered for the role, the candidate must be a chartered structural engineer through either IStructE or ICE, or close to chartership, and possess a relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, BSc, or a relevant master’s degree). They must also be able to demonstrate significant design experience using concrete, steel, masonry, and timber, as well as a track record of delivering civil and structural engineering design projects within the predominant sectors of the company, including commercial, industrial, residential, pre-cast concrete, and green energy. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills, a customer focus, and previous man-management experience.
