We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Structural Engineer to join a prestigious Design and Build company in East Devon. You will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of structural engineering aspects of various projects, contributing to the realisations of clients’ visions while ensuring structural safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to develop innovative and effective structural designs for various building types
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and stability of building structures.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD/Revit.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
