Girling Jones is working with a successful multi-discipline practice with multiple offices across the South of England. Due to continued growth and achievements both in the UK and internationally, they’re currently seeking a driven Structural Engineering Technician to join the vibrant team in Exeter.
In this role, you will utilise your expertise in Revit/3D modelling, RC detailing, and AutoCAD. While primarily a technician position, ideally you will possess a solid understanding of engineering design and principles.
Responsibilities: • Undertake engineering design, project management, and contract administration. • Produce and review project documentation, including design calculations, drawings, and more. • Proficiently utilise various in-house design and detailing software such as Revit and Tekla. • Conduct site inspections, and surveys, and write reports. • Collaborate with clients and other project team members. • Manage and monitor projects and team members. • Represent the Practice externally, assisting in marketing, winning work, and preparing fee proposals. • Perform general office duties as required.
