*Assistant Project Manager Position*
About the Company
Supported with gross investment, we are working in partnership with a construction business in Cornwall who are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the thriving team
Working across residential, commercial and mixed use developments, its primary purpose is to generate a future revenue stream for its owners, but also has a number of other key priorities such as having a positive impact on the design quality and sustainability of the built environment in Cornwall and also changing the residential letting market in Cornwall by offering a Private Rental product at scale, alongside building for open market sale
About the Role
Reporting to and working alongside a Project Manager, the role will be to assist in the management of multiple projects from design through to handover and aftercare. Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Liaise with the Project Managers / Development Managers to ensure the Build Programme optimises revenue generation for each development
- Proactively manage risk and opportunities across the projects, at both project and portfolio level
- Ensure site and build costs are being controlled within budget
- Full Programme Management
- General administrative duties from report writing through to compiling progress documents
What are we looking for?
An experienced Assistant Project Manager, ideally with experience having worked for either contractor or client side.
You may also have the following:
- Construction related qualification preferred
- Some project life cycle knowledge including design, development, procurement, logistics, manufacture & assembly, commissioning and handover
- Strong administrative experience
