Bathroom Fitter

Girling Jones are working with a maintenance contractor who are based in Cornwall to recruit a Bathroom/wetroom fitter to join the planned maintenance team. You will be working in occupied and void properties replacing bathrooms and wet rooms in Truro, St Austell, Hayle and surrounding areas.

Day to day “Bathroom fitter” duties:

• Rip out old bathroom
• Plumb in bath, WC, basin
• Install low level shower trays
• Boxing in pipes, skirting boards
• Plastering make walls good
• Tiling
• Silicone finishing
• Painting

What you’ll need to succeed:

• A qualification in plumbing or be time served
• To be multi skilled
• Asbestos awareness
• Clean driving licence
• Own tools
• Good communication skills

What you’ll get in return:

• £18 per hour paid via CIS
• 37 hour working week (Monday – Friday)
• Van & Fuel card provided
