We are looking for a Bid Manager to work for an established architectural practice that offers both national and international reach. They have an excellent reputation in the area for both the treatment of their staff and the exceptional quality of their work. This particular role is based in Bristol but will also provide bid support to their other offices.

We are looking for a self-managing team player, someone who is happy to get involved and muck in when required, who can work together with the other offices as one team.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Copy writing
  • Proof reading
  • Graphic capability

The ideal person would research and present bid opportunities to Directors based on their strategy. You should have proven ability to understand the market in which you are working and demonstrate how you have built up a network of contacts who will inform you of bids incoming. A forward-facing role in the industry so that all the relevant industry reps know who in the practice to talk to regarding opportunities. You will be their main liaison and point of contact on their consortium bids, be trusted by the practice to get on with the job and to build and live by a bid delivery structure under which they all effectively operate, this would include a sign off process. You would work with the regions to develop the answers and propose bids to them in line with their regional strategies. InDesign experience is extremely desirable as is a design flair.
