Electrician

Girling Jones require an Electrician to carry out insurance work claims for a growing and progressive maintenance contractor based in Plymouth and surrounding areas; you will be working in occupied & void properties carrying out repairs to flood, fire, water, and subsidence damaged properties across Devon and Cornwall.

You will be working a 40 hour week, 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday (no on call rotas, solely Monday to Friday)

Day to day “Electrician” duties:

• Working in occupied & void properties
• Re wiring
• Changing consumer units
• Testing
• Carrying out responsive repairs

What you’ll need to succeed:

• NVQ level 3 Electrical / equivalent C&G
• 18th Edition wiring regulations
• 2391 Inspecting & testing
• Experience working within occupied domestic properties
• Own tools

What you’ll get in return:

• £19 -20 per hour (paid CIS)
• £16 per hour + holiday (paid PAYE)
• If you use your own Van a fuel card will be provided
