Multi Skilled Operative

Girling Jones are working with a with a maintenance contractor who are based in Dorchester to recruit a Multiskilled operative to join the team on a temp to perm basis. You will be carrying out a variety of construction work including plastering, bricklaying, roofing, fencing and other general repair works within occupied and void properties

You will be working a 40-hour week

Duties will include:

• To carry out bricklaying works, panels
• Roofing repairs and minor replacement to all types of pitch end flat roofs
• Plastering and rendering of any wall/ ceiling
• Fencing and ancillary works such as installation of gates, concrete paths, steps
• Groundworks and drainage works
• Measure up and make written records to detail replacement requirements

You will need:

• City and Guilds or NVQ in core trade skill or proven ability & experience
• Experience within a similar role
• Driving licence
• Own PPE

In return:

• £20 per hour (paid CIS) or £15 per hour (paid PAYE)
• 40 hour working week
• Company van & tools
• Temp to perm opportunity
