Project Manager with knowledge and experience delivering fire safety systems required to take up 2 year Fixed Term employment starting in October 2020. Reporting to the Programme and Asset Management team, the Fire systems Project Manager will manage approved contractors carrying out surveys and works on fire safety system projects across a number of MoD facilities in the East and North East of England.


  • Liaise with the contractor and ensure the programme stays on track.

  • Liaise with site teams to ensure access

  • Review certificates produced from the testing to ensure they are fit for purpose.

  • Visit and carry out quality assurance checks.

  • Production of regular reports to show progress against programme and performance standards.

Essential Requirements/Experience:

  • Strong Project Management Experience delivering Fire related works

  • HNC, or equivalent level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience

  • Developed IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word etc.)

  • Full driving license

Please note, this is a mobile role covering multiple sites in the East and North East of England, employed on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. A company car will be provided, applications from candidates who have held or hold current MoD security clearance would be advantageous although not essential.
