Based in Devon, this independent, local house builder are looking for a Head of Sales to join their small but successful team. Committed to building unique, high-quality homes throughout the South West and beyond, they hang their hat on not only producing top end developments, but also being sympathetic to the local setting and the communities in which we build.
This role will head all sales for the business including strategic planning, management of sales staff, site presentation and dealing with sales data for presentation to the board of directors
A Head of Sales leads and motivates sales teams to achieve sales goals and objectives and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets
- Leading and motivating teams of Sales Representatives to develop customer relations and increase sales revenue
- Understanding and communicating the organisation’s value propositions and processes.
- Monitoring supply and demand, competitor offers and costs to determine and adjust selling prices.
- Forecasting and creating annual sales quotas for regions and territories to determine sales objectives.
- Analysing market trends and results to determine annual unit and gross-profit plans
- Driven, motivated and a real self-starter
- Experience working for a housing developer, ideally in a similar role
- Understanding of the residential market in the Devon and Cornwall area
- True team player
