Committed to delivering exceptional designs that seamlessly blend space, form, and function with cutting-edge manufacturing processes, our client ensures sustainability and elegance in every project.
As pioneers in off-site modular systems, our client is dedicated to innovation and sustainable development, consistently tackling fundamental questions to drive their design process: What is desirable? What is feasible? What is viable?
They’re currently seeking a talented and ambitious designer to join our client’s Bristol office. As a key member of their team, you’ll collaborate closely with Directors to prepare, develop, and refine drawings, models, and design information. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing health and safety considerations in design, including risk assessments.
  • Coordinating with project teams and resolving conflicts in information.

  • Facilitating Building Control applications and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and BIM procedures.

You’ll represent our client in client interactions, collaborating with internal and external teams to optimize architectural and structural designs for off-site manufacture. Your role will contribute to achieving targeted performance measures, including timely delivery, compliance with CDM requirements, and optimization of design quality, cost, and environmental targets.
To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience with BIM Level 2 Standard in Revit.
  • Proficiency in Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DfMA) and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, standards, and BIM procedures.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Office 365.
  • Ambition, teamwork skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
