The Opportunity
  
They are looking to attract an experienced “Building Surveyor” to join an existing team in the Exeter office.
  
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking refurbishment projects ranging from £50,000 to £2,000,000
  • Overseeing both traditional and Design & Build (D&B) projects, encompassing new builds and refurbishments
  • Excelling in client management to ensure project success
  • Efficiently handling contract administration responsibilities
  • Expertly preparing comprehensive tender packages
  • Conducting diverse building surveys to support project requirements
  • Leading by example and providing valuable assistance to junior team members  

The Ideal Candidate 

They are looking for candidates with recent Construction Consultancy experience, as well as:  

  • Proficient in the use of AutoCad as well as a basic understanding of professional services
  • Strong proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, email, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational abilities for prioritising work and meeting deadlines
  • Flexible with a positive approach
  • Impressive client-facing skills, personable, and a keen sense of commercial awareness
