Girling Jones are recruiting for a Plumber for the ever growing Southern Division which has more exciting projects on the way within Education, Health, Defence, Commercial and Industrial sectors.
The role
- We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Plumber to assist with our delivery of MOD / Defence Projects in and around Plymouth.
- The main roles and responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer will include but is not limited to Planned maintenance & service. Fault diagnosis, repairs, installation, testing, commissioning and operation of various systems including HVAC systems such as ventilation, air conditioning split & VRF systems and all other associated elements in an efficient, safe manner and in accordance with company Health and Safety policy, Safe Systems of Work and current regulations.
Qualifications:
- Ideally you will hold a CSCS card and industry related accreditations, with a craft apprenticeship or HAVC qualification.
- You would be required to have experience in servicing and remedial works in Compressors and air handling plant
- Knowledge and experience in the service, maintenance and repairs of Gas and heating equipment.
- Understanding of leading manufactures equipment.
- Have a good knowledge of H&S and safe working practices
