As “Quantity Surveyor” or “Project Quantity Surveyor” you will be joining an established and well-structured team in place delivering projects ranging n value up to £5M.
Works are varied across highways & infrastructure projects across Cornwall, mainly Section 278 works for Developers so experience in this field would be advantageous
Snapshot of Duties:
Reporting into the Managing QS, this “Quantity Surveying” role will be responsible for;
- Monthly applications & cost value reconciliations
- Quarterly cost and value reconciliations
- Procurement & administration
- Measurement of the works (where applicable) & dealing with change
- Assessing risk and cost monitoring
As a “Quantity Surveyor” you will ideally have 5+ years experience within the civil engineering infrastructure sector, as well as the following:
- Strong commercial acumen
- Knowledge of NEC & JCT Forms of Contract
- Experience delivering Section 278 works
- Full UK Driving Licence
There will be flexibility on the location of this position, with a balance between home, site and occasional office meetings
As a guide salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 plus package (inclusive of Car Allowance)
