Senior / Associate Building Services Design Engineer sought, Bristol. Girling Jones are delighted to be supporting a national multidisciplinary practice seeking further support within their Building Services Engineering team with the addition of a Senior / Associate Mechanical Building Services Engineer to the team. You will be joining a progressive team, ideally, we are after an aspiring Senior Mechanical Engineer however we are open to discussions at Associate level.
Your new employer,
- With over 50 years’ experience and circa 10 offices spanning the length and breadth of the UK, a Building Top 150 consultancy offering a multidisciplinary, integrated, and fully coordinated professional services to a variety of sectors to include mechanical and electrical, architecture, building surveying and various further.
Day to day,
- Produce design deliverables (including drawings, specifications, and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties
- Check calculations and production of detailed drawings to ensure engineering designs meet appropriate quality and compliance controls, project briefs and customer requirements
- Client-facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion
- Making client presentations on selected projects
- Etc there on as assumed of a Senior / Associate Engineer
What you’ll need to succeed,
- BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or relevant equivalent
- Relevant professional affiliation / chartership (MRICS / IEng / CEng / MCIBSE etc)
- Demonstrating a minimum of 4 years’ Building Services design professional background
- Experience in managing Junior Engineers, Apprentices and Graduates
- Understanding of commercial elements of projects
- Experience in software design including IES, Revit, Hevacomp etc
