Position: Trainee Quantity Surveyor, build main contractor, South Devon
Salary: £22k-£30k per annum depending on experience
Role: An exciting and often rare opportunity for a trainee/junior Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving and busy build main contractor based in South Devon. Working alongside an established commercial team with the opportunity to be supported and mentored in your role as a Junior QS. You’ll get to work on multi-million-pound, high end commercial refurbishment and fit out projects across the South of England, often working for repeat clients. The main function will be assisting the commercial team with commercial administration and performing the day-to-day functions of a Quantity Surveyor with guidance from your peers.
Individual: Candidate will ideally have some form of construction related qualification ideally in Quantity Surveying. Prior construction experience would be ideal but a willingness to learn and having a genuine interest in construction are crucial. Candidate will need to be a car driver and live within in the South Devon region. They will also need to be comfortable staying away in London/South of England typically once a week.
