I am looking for a “Valuation Surveyor” to join a dedicated team of chartered surveyors with a strong presence across the South West. They are established as the go-to commercial property consultancy in Devon, boasting an impressive track record of successful agency deals. This productive firm offers a comprehensive suite of commercial property services, encompassing everything from agency expertise to top-notch property management and valuation services, all delivered with excellence to a diverse clientele. They’re on the hunt for a “Valuation Surveyor” to join their Exeter Office.
  
The Opportunity

The “Valuation Surveyor” will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional services to a diverse clientele, ranging from private clients and financial institutions to pension funds and other esteemed professional service providers. Our services span across the retail, office, industrial, and residential sectors.
  • Conducting valuations for various purposes, including secured and non-secured lending, all across the beautiful landscape of Devon.
  • Taking on the exciting responsibility of landlord & tenant work, encompassing tasks like lease renewals, regears, and rent reviews for a broad spectrum of clients, both on the landlord’s and tenant’s side.
  • Playing a pivotal role in our business promotion and marketing efforts, shaping the future of our firm and expanding our reach in the competitive world of commercial property consultancy.

  
The Ideal Candidate 

  • RICS qualification is a must, with a preference for candidates having around 2 years of post-qualification experience, although it’s not mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of property legislation.
  • Local and regional market knowledge is desirable.
  • Excellent social skills, especially in the realm of business networking, are highly valued.
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication, including the ability to produce detailed and compelling reports.
  • A knack for numbers and good numerical skills are essential.
  • Strong IT skills.
