Unbelievable scenes in the final of the pool stages of this years Girling Jones bake off. Four culinary “Leviathan’s ” went head to head in a potentially “Michelin Starred” round.
The week started with controversy as finalist Joe Knowles was disqualified, having been found to have outsourced his Meat Pie. All was soon forgotten as Vic, Michelle, Steve and the peoples Champ ‘Simon’ went head to head.
Unfortunately the delicate balance of texture and flavours in some dishes was overlooked, and Michelle’s cheesecake reigned supreme
