Following the birth of their second son Finn last year, Fiona and Dave’s NICU journey at Derriford Hospital began.

Thankfully, nearly 12 months later Finn is thriving, all thanks to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Derriford who provide specialist medical intensive care treatment for extremely preterm and sick newborn babies in the South West area

Fi and Dave wanted to give something back, and set a target to raise £2000.

On 13th May this year, Fiona took down Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in one go – successfully completing the National Three Peaks Challenge in 22 hours and 44 minutes.

In April, Dave used gristle-like thighs of steel to pound his way through to complete the Wye Valley Trail Marathon

As a team they raised a total of £2,630.

Fantastic effort guys and a great start for our annual £20,000 challenge!

Wooooosah!!
