Chartered Building Surveyor – Exeter

The Opportunity
The successful “Chartered Building Surveyor” will join a busy existing team with key responsibilities including:
- Offer expertise and guidance to clients across all facets of Building Consultancy as needed.
- Develop repair and refurbishment specifications, oversee works on-site, and manage coordination.
- Provide Project Management and Monitoring services, including the preparation and negotiation of Schedules of Dilapidations.
- Conduct various surveys such as Pre-acquisition, Exit, and Maintenance Surveys.
- Draft and negotiate fee proposals, ensuring timely delivery of work in accordance with client expectations.
- Attend networking events to bolster both personal and company reputation.
- Cultivate and sustain internal and external client relationships, utilizing networking to identify business development opportunities and foster growth.
- Collaborate with internal departments to cross-promote services, thereby supporting clients and enhancing revenue streams.

- MRICS qualified
- Proficient in professional engagement with business individuals, providing top-notch client care
- Adaptable working approach to cater to various client and business needs
- Skill in prioritisation and flexibility to accommodate changes as necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, evidenced by successful client and third-party interactions
- Initiative-driven self-starter with a track record of independent work experience
