An opportunity has arisen for a Civil Design Engineer with residential development experience to join a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy in their Bristol office. Role and Responsibilities
As a skilled Civil Design Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support for planning applications (drainage strategy, flood risk assessments, long sections etc)
- Road and adoptable drainage designs and external detailing
- Preparing engineering packages for Section 38, 278, and 104 approvals
- Liaising and negotiating with clients and other consultants (Environment Agency and Highways authorities)
- Producing designs, drawings and reports using relevant software
- Maintaining our company standards of quality and consistency
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD, PDS and/or Flow
- Excellent communication and numerical skills
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- An avid problem solver with a keen attention to detail
- Plenty of motivation, vision, and drive
