Are you an Electrical Supervisor based in Cornwall? I am recruiting for a local maintenance contractor for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join their team.
As the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all electrical installations and work carried out by our team adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical testing and inspection process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support to our team of electricians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical inspections and tests in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure that all electrical installations meet quality requirements and comply with applicable regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and other team members.
- Review and approve electrical design plans and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and certifications.
- Identify areas for improvement in processes, procedures, and standards.
- Stay updated on changes to electrical regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Qualified electrician with NVQ level 3, AM2, 18th Edition wiring regs, 2391 inspection and testing.
- Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection, and supervision.
- Thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g NICEIC).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
