The Company

This well-established multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy, based in Exeter, have a diverse portfolio of projects, working with a broad range of clients and local authorities. Primarily, the company carry out traditional JCT contract work, meaning projects are overseen from feasibility stage right through to completion. What’s more, with multiple disciplines in-house to ensure projects are managed optimally, there is a fantastic team dynamic within their exceptional Exeter offices, complete with on-site parking.

The Role

An opening has arisen for a Graduate Civil Engineer or 1–2-year post-grad Civil Engineer to join the team. This is a great chance to join the Exeter team in its infancy as the company bring their civil works inhouse to the local branch.

The successful candidate will report to, and be supported by, senior staff and:

  • Prepare feasibility studies, technical notes, and reports
  • Prepare drawings using various design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla)
  • Attend meetings and site visits with other team members
  • Liaise across divisions/departments and offices as required

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • Be a Graduate Civil Engineer or post grad with 1-2 years of experience
  • Experience using AutoCAD (Experience with Revit and Tekla desirable but not essential)
  • Good report writing and communication skills
  • Be based in Exeter or willing to commute
  • CSCS card or willingness to obtain if successful
  • Full clean driver’s license
