This role primarily involves office-based work, but there will be opportunities to visit sites for investigations, surveys, and client consultations throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities encompass diverse tasks such as flood modeling, HEC-RAS 1D and 2D software utilization for Flood Risk Assessments, and detailed design using MicroDrainage software for drainage network modeling and sizing single soakaways across extensive housing development projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software is crucial for drafting designs and presenting proposals to clients, covering reporting, conceptual design, and detailed construction stages. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training, including the possibility of attending external courses if necessary. Additionally, access to 3D modeling software, Site 3D, facilitates the analysis of LiDAR and topographic survey data for design purposes, integrated with AutoCAD Civil 3D software to automate civil design tasks and presentations.
