Incredible scenes this weekend as Cullompton Rugby club hosted an evening of Bingo like no other.
Set within the tranquil Culm Valley and boasting one of the UK’s most magnificent churches, the historic market town of Cullompton has been the centre of rural life in Mid Devon for centuries.
Outwardly peaceful, the town regularly plays venue to the violent, physically aggressive “Street Bingo” scene.
Flare ups are regular as contestants battle for position, armed with sharpened coloured markers, high on Bitter Lemon and Scampi Fries
Our very own Lucy Hastings, a former lieutenant of the “Culli Raiders” hosted the evening, raising a whopping £420 for this years Girling Jones Charity Challenge
